Federica Merenda is a Post-doc Researcher in Feminist AI. Her dual background in International Law and Political Philosophy coupled with her technical expertise in AI and Robotics shapes her research on the human rights and ethical impact of digital technologies. She is a feminist scholar committed to equal rights and social justice. Her first book on AI in EU migration governance “La condizione disumana. Hannah Arendt, l’intelligenza artificiale e le frontiere digitali” just came out.

Pinelopi Troullinou is an independent researcher and consultant in AI ethics and responsible innovation, working at the intersection of technology, society, and human rights. She challenges dominant assumptions in AI design by centring children rights and applying DEI principles.

At IWD, she invites technologists to break the pattern: rethink who AI is designed for, question hidden biases in product decisions, and build systems that are more inclusive, accountable, and resilient for everyone.

For more than twenty years she has been passionately dedicated to the design and implementation of advanced technologies in the industrial sector.

In recent years, She has broadened her professional horizons by entering the world of Artificial Intelligence, specialized in Computer Vision.
